volunteer news
Without volunteers, the Blues at Bridgetown Music Festival wouldn't be the successful event it has grown to become. It is you the volunteer that helps to keep the ship afloat.
You do not have to be a local to be a volunteer!
There are various Volunteer positions available for the 2007 Blues at Bridgetown Music Festival. These include:
- Ticketing and wristbands
- Working in the Festival Office/Sales
- General Helper/Runner
- Master of Ceremonies (MC) & Venue management
- The 'A Team' (Assembly)
Have a serious think about your interests and what you think you would be good at, but leave your options open, as there are lots of positions to be filled over the three days.
Please be sure to fill out the application form with all the details of your availability for the weekend of the 7th-9th November 2008.

Lock those dates into your diary because it is definitely a weekend that shouldn't be missed.
This is why your efforts will not go unnoticed. As a volunteer, you will receive recognition of your efforts through an exclusive Blues at Bridgetown volunteers t-shirt .
Also, to ensure you can carry out your volunteering responsibilities you will be provided with a Festival pass giving you access to all ticketed venues and performances in order to undertake familiarisations, research and other volunteer duties. This will enable you access to the festival venues during the weekend when you are not working.
This is a weekend you won't forget in a hurry. You'll make new friends and rekindle annual blues friendships.
