These boys have their chops down to a T. Paul as lead guitarist alongside David Wood on bass and drummer Phil Tyrrell, laying down a scorching rhythm section with Bob Patient displaying his awesome skill on keyboards.
Paul Yates originally started out as a solo act,

working with the likes of Matt Taylor and Dave Hole, but is now taking a band on board. Paul and the immediate band are Mandurah locals, occasionally they will rope in an amazing brass section.
Although ringing riffs, screaming solos and thumping rhythm keep you dancing, Paul and his band remain faithful to the spirit of traditional blues and pay homage to all the old suspects; SRV, Albert King, Albert Collins, Jimmy Reed, Sonny Terry, Browny Macgee and Muddy Waters.
Yatesy and his Blues Groove stamp their mark as one of Australia's newest blues acts and are sure to get the crowd going.
