Sue's live vibe has been likened to Tracy Chapman, Xavier Rudd, Ani DiFranco and Joan Armatrading, while Sue draws inspiration from those and many others including Jeff Lang, Nick Cave, Neil Young and John Butler. This has lead to a guitar style filled with intimate fingerpicking and driving guitar rhythms supporting a dynamic & soulful voice singing about life from the heart.
Originating from the Blue Mountains, Sue immigrated to Denmark (Western Australia) six years ago where she recently completed Certificate IV in Music Performance. Some of Sue's latest shows include playing support for Ash Grunwald, Clare Bowditch, the Dave Mann Collective, Saritah and Nathan Gaunt along with regular appearances at the WAMi Festival (2004, 2005, 2006) and Denmark Festival of Voice (2005, 2006).
