Is a new name for most, but he has long been a mainstay on the South East Queensland Blues and Roots Scene.
Formerly known as Josh Bambridge, J.B. Lewis has fronted his own projects, in both band and solo formats, for close to 15 years. He has been a first call band member for the top Blues acts in Brisbane, as well as for touring from interstate and overseas.
J.B. Lewis has always had eclectic tastes in music, his own music reflecting this. You can see taming his demons over a rambling 1 cord Juke Joint Blues, ripping it up over a stompin’ Jump Swing Beat, pulling out the fiddle for a fiery Hillbilly Jig, or playing lap Slide on a rockin’ Elmore James Style shuffle.
J.B. Lewis is sure to get the crowd whooping and hollering with fiery guitar playing and heart filled voice.
