British guitarist Gary Cox returns to Bridgetown this year with his power trio featuring Wayne Antiock on drums and Malcolm Skinner on Bass.
Renowned for his slide guitar prowess and diverse musical influences (From Ry Cooder and Robert Johnson to Frank Zappa and Jimmy Hendrix) expect a passionate trip across all blues genres.
Each of this year’s performances will contain a special set dedicated to the late great Irish blues man Rory Gallagher. Perth Blues Club audiences will no doubt remember the passion and energy the band put into their Rory Gallagher tribute performances as well as their normal blues shows.
This is definitely one for fans of the Electric Guitar !
