Cyclone Tracee is the stage name for Tracee Morrison.
Originally from Denmark, Western Australia, Tracee has been working as a professional entertainer throughout Australia and overseas for nearly twenty years.
Respected for her powerful vocals, professionalism and ability to consistently deliver a dynamic stage performance; this little ‘pocket rocket’ has led, and worked with, some of Australia’s leading musicians across a variety of genres including: Jazz, Blues, Rock, R&B, Rock and Roll and Contemporary Pop.
Tracee has only recently resumed permanent residency in Australia, having spent 8 years touring Asia & the United Arab Emirates with her band. Overseas residencies included: the Hard Rock Café Chain in China; the Sheraton Hotel Group in Indonesia; the Mandarin Hotel Group in Hong Kong and, the Australian Embassy and American Naval Base, in Bahrain (UAE).
Since returning to Australia, Tracee has been delivering performances within the live music scene as well as the corporate sector – including a personnel invitation from ‘The Seekers’ Keith Potger to open the inaugural Denmark Music Festival; supporting John Williamson.
Other highlights have included her fifth successive annual performance at the Swan Valley Vineyards ‘Spring in the Valley’, and fronting ‘Electrica’ (WA Symphony Orchestra) at the 2001 Bridgetown Blues Festival – firmly securing her reputation as one of Western Australia’s finest acts.
Tracee was the founder and collaborator of the highly successful ‘Homegrown Music’ event, staged at Northbridge’s ‘Blue to the Bone’ club (2005-2006), introducing many new and exciting acts onto our vibrant local music scene.
For the 2007 ‘Bridgetown Blues Festival’ the ‘Cyclone Tracee’ Band comprises of; Cyclone Tracee Morrison (Vocals), Bob Patient (Keyboards), Roy Daniels (Bass), Ace Follington (Drums) with special guest appearances from Les Karski (Guitar).
