Come join in the fun Sat between 12 & 5pm outside the Anz Bank in the Main St we would love to see ya there!

The West Coast Blues Club Inc is a non-profit organization, and has grown over the last 5 years. Run by an enthusiastic group of Volunteers it has become one of the largest and most successful clubs in Rockingham. The West Coast Blues Club has grown bigger and better, playing various types of Blues music in a friendly environment.

We hold Fundraisers, CD Launches, Country Bus Trips, and Jam Nights in search of new talent.

Each summer on the Sun  3rd weekend of Feb we hold the Blues Alive Festival in conjunction with the Rockingham Shire Council at the beautiful Rockingham foreshore. This is a real family event beside the beach and it was great to see children of all ages out enjoying the fresh air and good tunes.

Earlier this year at the Kwinana Performing Arts Centre we held our inaugural K Town Blues & Roots Festival, which proved to be very popular with a very large all ages crowd under the stars at the Federation Amphitheatre. We also provide a showcase of talent to play at the Bridgetown Blues Festival each November, & have taken part in the Fremantle Blues & Roots Festival. This year and we have been invited to put on a showcase of W.A performers at the Australian Blues Music Festival in Goulburn NSW in 2007. Featuring Blue Shaddy, Ben Witt, Ivan Zarr and our House Band Mark Vine & The Mix.

We distribute Bi Monthly Newsletters, to all Members, Sponsors, and Local Businesses. We have club merchandise for sale at our events, for example Stubbie Coolers, Hats, Visor’s T Shirts, Long Sleeve Shirts, Mugs, and Shooter Glasses some of which advertise our sponsors. We are happy to support our local artist’s by selling their CD’s.

We have begun 2006 with a change of direction.  Instead of our Friday nights at local hotels, we are concentrating on more varied venues and shows. We hold events at venues in our local area including jam nights that give musicians the experience and exposure that they need. Members are encouraged to attend our committee meetings, held on the third Monday of each month, and to vote at the AGM.
