The Riders, Bridgetown’s own acoustic duo, play their own brand of contemporary blues. Their huge repertoire of original material reflects a variety of musical influences, including the early country and delta blues of the 1920’s and 30’s, and the feel-good pop and rock music that they grew up with.

From steamy blues to foot-stomping hillbilly romps; from guitar and drum-based rhythm and blues to quirky country tunes featuring washboard and fingerpicking guitar, The Riders guarantee to get you movin’ and groovin’. Don’t miss them!

The Riders are: Deborah Birch (vocals, drums, washboard, percussion), and Martin Cropper (vocals, slide and open-tuned Dobro, 12 string acoustic guitars (baritone and standard), 6-string acoustic guitar and stomp-box).
