On The Level are a very different band playing a mixture of unusual Rockin Boogie Blues Covers & Originals.
Being a 5 piece band you can expect a big full sound, without being too loud.
On The Level are the end result of a Rick Steele Music Work Shop, without it, David Gillam, Steve Connolly & Dave "Tex" Bates would never have met!!!
Dave's Strong Husky Vibrative vocals suits this Boogie outfit, it just get better with every performance. Hot Texan Boogie Lickin Guitarist " Tex" will keep you electrified and with Steve as dedicated Harp player, On The Level have a depth that some bands aspire to!
Now with the inclusion of Rick Cauldwell laying down some solid thumping on Bass &
Ian "Bones" Ironside on Drums ( a man who needs no introduction ) has played with the who's who of Australia's best!! The band now has the solid backline Dave was looking for!
They are currently finalising their first originals CD with Tom Thorpe @ Bonsai Recording Studios and hope to have it completted for debut at Bridgetown.
