Martin Lee Cropper plays an eclectic mix of original songs and instrumentals on acoustic 6-string and resonator guitars.
His love of 1920's and 30's rural blues fuelled a desire to write contemporary music using "Piedmont" finger-style and slide techniques. His lyrics are heartfelt and often whimsical, dealing with love, life and the unique perspective he has gained since making his home in the hills of Bridgetown.
Martin's acoustic guitar was hand-built by Scott Wise, and is styled on the very first Gibson Flat-tops of the 1920's.
