Desert Radio

Desert Radio are a blues and roots duo from Dunsborough WA. The duo write all their own music and also play a variation of old blues songs with there own origanal style, infuences are the black keys, ash grunwald and the mess hall.


Playing up to 5 instruments at once; Neil Ovendon is up front on vocals, harmonica, didgeridoo, slide and electric guitar and Justin Mason is on the bass and percussion.


The duo have a sound of a 5 piece band with punchy riffs, driving bass and Neil’s vocals powering over the top in true blues style, and they get every punter up and dancing with there first song.


The last year has see the duo secure many gigs over the south west including support for Dallas Frasca, Ash Grunwald and James Reyne. So get on down and see the boys rip it up at the Bridgetown Blues Fest, 2006.
